School’s starting really soon for most of us! ARE YOU READY? Or still trudging through piles of holiday homework? I don’t know about you, but from my personal experience teachers usually don’t collect the homework on the first day of school :D Still, I think we all prefer to have a fresh start in a new year rather than be burdened with a huge chunk of annoying backlog so if you still have work to do, KEEP GOING!! (And finish your work before procrastinating on tumblr hahaha :D)
For those who weren’t at the Watchnight service, here’s a quick summary of Pastor’s message for 2011: Getting into SHAPE! I think we’d want to be in really good SHAPE as we approach the coming year, ready to meet its challenges, so here goes:
1) Be Still
2) Be Humble
3) Be Anchored in God’s word
4) Be Prayerful
5) Be Empowered by His spirit
So when we’re in SHAPE, we will be conquerors in both spiritual battles and real life challenges :D Let’s get into SHAPE together!
So as we enter into our schools/workplaces once again, we may meet with challenges but I want to encourage you to look to God and have faith that our God is bigger than the obstacles :D Let’s continue to count on God and encourage one another!
As Eunice said before, ”TOUGH TIMES DON’T LAST, TOUGH GIRLS DO!” So yep be encouraged, keep the faith and the hope, keep each other in prayer, and believe that this will be our year (:
